I am physically involved with two friends

Question: I am physically and emotionally attracted to two guys who are good friends with each other. Both are aware that I am going out on dates with them. But they don't know that I have got physically intimatewith both. Should I confess it to both? But how to start that conversation and how should I pick one of them? I can't decide.- By Anonymous

Answer by Dr Rachna K Singh:One can certainly feel affectionate towards two people, and can even be physically intimate with two or more people; however they cannot be in a relationship with two people at the same time. While you may enjoy spending time with both, it is a possibility that you could be confusing this with love. However, in case you still feel equally connected to both, ask yourself, whom you would approach first in case of an emergency? Before confessing to both the boys, I certainly suggest that you should take a break yourself and identify your definition of love, relationship and commitment. During this time, ensure that you are away from both the boys, and focus entirely on yourself -- your physical, mental and emotional being. Use this time to identify what you enjoy doing the most, such as a long-lost hobby and do that activity. It will certainly be tough to remain out of touch with both the boys for this span, but certain self-control is essential at this point. Make sure there is no conversation at any cost, be it telephonic, face-to-face or over text. Once you have been with yourself for 2-3 weeks, figure out what love means to you and whom you miss the most during this period, you will surely get a clearer picture of who suits you better!
